Practical Study Program for Secondary and High School Graduates 2015

EABMTI, the Institute that host BizTokk is offering two interesting  program for form Four and Six graduates to prepare them for their further education and working life ( for those who will not go to school next year).

The recruitment is opening up tomorrow November 5th 2015 for one week.

Eligibility: All young Tanzanians with secondary and high school qualifications in the last five years.  The objective is to guide  those who go to the university and high school on what courses to take (specialisations) so as to take advantage of what is available in the market today, and in the near future. This will help them know what disciplines of studies are generating employment opportunities for young graduates. On the average today, the gestation period between graduation and first employment is about five years. You can avoid this by choosing a specialisation which is able to absorb new employees quickly.

For Secondary School Graduates: The program will guide  to high school specialisation capable of taking you to your dream job. You will also be assisted to understand what subjects lead to what jobs.

Promoting specialisations which are not popular today, but have a better future:
Many young and intelligent Tanzanians today, shy away from journalism and mass media studies because they believe they are the people for lower passes. Others refuse to pursue education studies, Kiswahili language study for the reason that their peers will not find them cool. These misconception due to lack of information make many of young people like yourself, blind to the wealth of global opportunities.

The Word Entrepreneurship has been misplaced in Tanzania people who are supposed to be the promoters of the concept including academicians, the government and the business community relates it to poor and incompetent businesses,  uneducated and poorly education players, and businesses that need help.  This is wrong because entrepreneurship is about innovation, efficiency, commercial, cost efficiency, ambition and  excellency in investment decision making.
It is for this reason that EABMTI will run a program for young people who are out of school with entrepreneurial acumen, transform their business ideas into full business potential. Since inception in 2009, EABMTI has trained and oriented over 400 young people into entrepreneurship and project management skills.
